Clara Athearn

Clara Athearn, a 2024 Vision Scholar, graduated from Falmouth Academy in May 2024. She is now earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology with a focus in environmental science and field botany at the College of the Atlantic. She has interned with the Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group, doing both field and hatchery work to help with their mission to restore shellfish resources for the well-being of the community and environment. At college, Clara has a work-study at the school’s produce farm, and is training to be a sea kayaking leader as member of the outdoor program.
