Zoe Turcotte
A 2012 Vision Fellow, Zoe Turcotte earned her master’s degree in middle school science education from Lesley University. While a Fellow, she interned at Felix Neck working with the director, and her mentor, Suzan Bellincampi. She developed an after-school program focused on science and sustainability education for Island middle school students. She also volunteered abroad on conservation projects in Africa for five weeks. Through the Fellowship, Zoe also earned a Certificate for Tropical Habitat Conservation (BTEC) for her work researching lemur behavior in Nosy Be, Madagascar, and teaching environmental conservation in the area. Since 2011, Zoe has taught middle school science at the West Tisbury School. She also teaches technology and engineering.
